Our Programs

At Ahead, girls learn leadership, entrepreneurship, and empowerment through hair-centric lessons. We use hair as a tool to teach transferable skills such as team building, communication, or problem-solving that girls can use no matter what path in life they choose to take. In each session, girls learn a new hair-specific lesson, such as Bantu Knots, twist outs, or knotless braids, coupled with a lesson on business or leadership lessons.
